Mr. Kerlin spent 9 years in the Oil & Gas industry working on positive displacement gas expanders. During this time he held positions in engineering, manufacturing, management, and later on at the C suite level. He then transitioned to the aerospace industry for 7 years, where he spent almost 4 years as VP of Operations before co-founding Radius1 with his partners. He has a B.S. in Mechanical engineering from University of Utah and a MBA from Southern Utah University.
Andy Kerlin spent 9+ years in engineering/developing a positive displacement expander, pump, and compressor prime mover for the geothermal, oil and gas, waste heat recovery, and power generation industrial commercial markets. Mr. Kerlin was instrumental in analyzing, designing, building, and testing dozens of prototypes, including a complete set of four high pressure power generation skid systems for offshore platform use. Recently, he held 5 years tenure at Intergalactic as a Design Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Director of R&D, with a primary focus on aerospace environmental control systems and related components for military contracts. Mr. Kerlin holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and has been awarded several patents.
Mr. Barnum worked as the Controller/CFO for Wilson Electronics for 14 years. While there, he helped grow the business from less than $1M to $60M in revenue and facilitated a successful exit for the founders. For the transaction he performed the basic audit and prepared several key reports including quality of earnings, cash flow, and sales projections. In addition to managing the finance/accounting department, he oversaw HR and administration which involved revamping the company’s IT system. Today he serves as CFO for Radius1 and works in several capacities for the founders of Wilson Electronics, including Trustee. Kurt holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Dixie State University.
